Is it safe for me to take Ak-Fluor if I am pregnant?

If you are pregnant, you should only be given Ak-Fluor if it is absolutely necessary. Few studies have been conducted that examine how its active ingredient, fluorescein, affects a pregnant mother or her developing fetus. Talk to your doctor about whether the benefits of getting Ak-Fluor would outweigh the possible risks.
