Severe side effects requiring immediate care include your eyes becoming continuously red or your eye or your eyelid swelling. In rare cases you may have an allergic reaction to the drug; call your health care provider immediately if you have trouble breathing, chest tightness, or develop an itchy rash, hives, or swelling in your face, lips, tongue, or mouth.
