What should I know about Poly-Pred before using it?

Before using Poly-Pred you should know the following usage tips and safety information:
  • Tell your doctor if your symptoms do not improve -- or worsen -- while using this medication, as in rare cases, Poly-Pred may not cause improvement.
  • Ask your doctor about proper care if you wear contact lenses.
  • To avoid contaminating the medication's sterile dropper, do not touch the dropper to any surfaces, including your eyes and hands.
  • After applying Poly-Pred drops, lightly press the corner of your eye to prevent the medication from entering the tear duct.
