Rimexolone should only be used as directed by your doctor. Before applying rimexolone eye drops, be sure that the dropper remains sterile. Touching the dropper to fingers and other surfaces, including your eye, may cause the dropper to become contaminated, increasing your risk of exposure to an infection. Tell your doctor if you are currently suffering from any bacterial, viral or fungal infections in your eyes. You may be advised against using rimexolone as it might worsen these types of infections. You may want to avoid this drug if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Safety of use in children has not been established.
