How should I use flurbiprofen ophthalmic?

You should use flurbiprofen exactly as directed by your doctor. A healthcare worker will administer this medication if you are at a surgery center. If you have been asked to apply it yourself, follow these instructions:

Wash your hands
Keep the dropper's tip from touching any surface
Tilt your head back and pull down your lower eyelid, creating an envelope for the drops
Look up and away from the dropper as you squeeze out a drop
Press your finger on the corner of your eye near your nose for about a minute
