Does ranibizumab interact with other medications?

It is possible for ranibizumab (brand name Lucentis) to interact with other medications. Some people who were injected with ranibizumab days after they got a drug called verteporfin (Visudyne) developed a serious inflammation. Researchers haven't done studies to see if ranibizumab can interact with other drugs. If you think that ranibizumab is affecting a medicine you are taking, or if another medicine you take is affecting ranibizumab, tell your doctor about your concern.
