Are there any side effects of Zymar?

Common side effects of Zymar antibiotic eye drops include: stinging; mild eye burning, irritation, redness, itching or tearing; blurry vision; or swelling or itching of the eyelid. If you experience severe or lasting swelling, burning or redness in your eye; signs of a new infection, such as oozing or crusting; any sign of skin rash; eye pain; light sensitivity; or vision changes, call your doctor right away. Signs of an allergic reaction, such as hives, skin rash, itching, swelling of the throat or face or shortness of breath, require emergency treatment; call 911.
