What should I avoid while taking Rybix ODT?

Taking certain precautions can help keep you safe while using Rybix ODT (tramadol). This medicine is usually prescribed to treat moderate to moderately severe pain. Don't drink alcoholic beverages if you're using Rybix ODT. This drug lowers activity in the central nervous system, that is, your brain and nerves. Combining Rybix ODT with alcohol could further depress your central nervous system, which could cause serious side effects or even death.

Do not drive or use heavy machinery while taking Rybix ODT until you know how this medication affects you. Some people become quite drowsy or lose muscle coordination, which could increase the risk for accidents.

Combining Rybix ODT with certain medications can cause potentially dangerous drug interactions. Tell your physician about all medications you use before taking Rybix ODT.
