You should not take nalmefene hydrochloride if you are currently taking flumazenil or nalbuphine. Also avoid this medication if you are allergic to it or any of its ingredients, have liver or kidney disease, heart disease for which you take medication, or a history of narcotic addiction. Pregnant and breast-feeding women should not take this drug if possible.
