If I am pregnant, is it safe to use Ryzolt?

Experts aren't sure if it's safe to take Ryzolt (tramadol extended-release tablets) during pregnancy, so you should avoid this drug if possible. Ryzolt, which is prescribed for managing moderate to moderately severe chronic pain, hasn't been studied in pregnant women, but animal studies suggest the drug is harmful during pregnancy. Before you start taking Ryzolt, tell your doctor if you're pregnant or hope to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
