Dilaudid (hydromorphone) may not mix well with nalbuphine (Nubain). Dilaudid is a pain reliever that comes as a tablet or liquid. Nalbuphine also relieves pain and is given via injection. Nalbuphine may interact with Dilaudid, causing the latter drug to be less effective. If you're using Dilaudid, tell your physician before receiving an injection of nalbuphine.
