Can I use ConZip if I am taking carbamazepine?

Do not take the pain medication ConZip along with the antiseizure medication carbamazepine (Carbatrol, Epitol, Equetro, Tegretol). Carbamazepine affects the way the body breaks down ConZip in a way that causes ConZip to be less effective at relieving pain. And because ConZip increases the risk of seizure, it's not an ideal pain medication for people prone to seizures. Before you take ConZip, let your doctor know if you're using carbamazepine.
