You should be very careful about mixing antihistamines with Fentora (fentanyl), a morphine-like drug for breakthrough cancer pain. Some antihistamines can worsen Fentora's side effects, causing dangerously slowed breathing and/or excessive sleepiness. Consult your doctor and pharmacist before taking any antihistamine, either prescription or over-the-counter, if you're using Fentora.
