Can I use Rybix ODT if I am taking tricyclic antidepressants?

If you're taking a tricyclic antidepressant, tell your doctor before using Rybix ODT (tramadol). Rybix ODT is sometimes prescribed for relief of moderate to moderately severe chronic pain. Combining Rybix ODT with tricyclic antidepressants such as imipramine (Tofranil) or clomipramine (Anafranil) can increase the risk for seizures. If you're taking a tricyclic or any other antidepressant medication, your doctor will decide if Rybix ODT is safe for you to use. Make sure to tell your doctor about all medications and supplements you take.
