Is there a cure for onychoschizia?

Onychoschizia can usually be cured simply through better nail care. This includes keeping a healthy moisture level for your nails, protecting your nails from chemicals, using nail-strengthening polishes and products, and being gentler with your nails while filing or buffing. If your onychoschizia is caused by an underlying condition however, you must first treat the condition. Only after you have treated contributing factors can you hope for a cure of onychoschizia.
