You should only take Klor-Con if you know you are potassium deficient. Do not take Klor-Con if you have kidney failure or are severely dehydrated. Consult your doctor about Klor-Con if you have kidney failure, severe tissue damage, heart disease, hypertension, intestinal or gastric blockage or chronic diarrhea. Definitely do not take Klor-Con if you have hyperkalemia, a condition in which you have too much potassium in your blood.
