Does dextrose sodium chloride injection interact with drugs?

Currently, no adverse interactions with food or oral medication are known.  However, before an IV drug is added to the IV fluid for administration to a patient, a compatibility chart will be checked by the person preparing the IV. Some medications are not compatible with dextrose solution, some are not compatible with sodium chloride solution. If you experience any adverse reactions, tell your physician or nurse immediately to receive appropriate treatment.
