Will a better diet help hair to re-grow?

If your hair loss was caused by a poor diet, then eating a well-rounded diet may help your hair to re-grow. Hair loss can occur in people who are malnourished or who consume insufficient protein or iron. There is also some evidence that taking supplements of biotin and zinc in combination with using topical medication may help hair re-grow in some people. Consult your physician before taking any supplements. Since hair loss can have many causes, it's best to see a doctor to get a diagnosis of the cause in your case.
