What are Naprosyn, Anaprox, and Anaprox DS?

Naprosyn, Anaprox and Anaprox DS are brand names for slightly different forms of the drug naproxen. These drugs, classified as NSAIDs, relieve mild to moderate pain, swelling and stiffness from arthritis, tendonitis, bursitis and gout. They may also relieve dental pain, headaches or painful menstrual periods. These medications are prescription strengths of naproxen.
