What if I miss a dose of oxaprozin (Daypro)?

If you miss a dose of oxaprozin take it as soon as you remember, if you need it. If it is very close to the time you are expected to take the next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Don't take two doses at once. You can take this medicine as needed at the first sign of pain, or take it once or twice a day as directed by your doctor.

Oxaprozin (Daypro) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve the pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. It reduces pain, swelling and joint stiffness by blocking certain chemicals involved in the inflammation process.
