What is etodolac extended release?

Etodolac extended release is a prescription nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is used to treat mild to moderate pain, and helps to relieve the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and juvenile arthritis. Etodolac extended release works by blocking inflammation-causing substances to reduce pain and stiffness. While etodolac does not cure arthritis, it can help relieve the symptoms and may prevent the disease from getting worse.
