What should I avoid while taking Ibudone?

If you are taking Ibudone (hydrocodone and ibuprofen), a strong pain reliever, you should avoid taking more of it or taking it more often than your doctor prescribes, because doing so can increase your risk for side effects. For the same reason, you should also avoid drinking alcohol while you're on this drug.

Ibudone can make you drowsy, so you should avoid driving and operating machinery until you know how it affects you.

It's also important to avoid taking other medicines that contain ibuprofen, even over-the-counter medicines. Do not take other painkillers while you're on Ibudone.

Women should avoid breastfeeding while they're on Ibudone. If you're breastfeeding, talk with your doctor about whether you should wean your baby in order to take this drug or find another way to manage your pain.
