What are the side effects of Acular?

Some people may have an allergic reaction to Acular (ketorolac 0.5% solution), which leads to symptoms like hives, swelling in your face or throat and difficulty breathing. Talk to your doctor right away if you experience any of those symptoms. Other serious side effects of Acular may include severe pain or burning in the eye, eye infection, eye discharge and unusual bleeding. More common side effects include:

  • blurred vision
  • temporary burning or irritation of the eye
  • eye redness
  • headaches

Other side effects are possible, so talk to your doctor if any new or unusual symptoms develop while using Acular.
