What are the side effects of Indocin oral suspension?

Side effects of Indocin oral suspension may include headaches, dizziness, irritation of the rectum, digestive problems such as vomiting and diarrhea and ringing in the ears. Tell your doctor if these side effects persist or are severe. More serious side effects are possible, including heart attack, stroke and stomach or intestinal bleeding. Symptoms of an allergic reaction to Indocin, include severe itching, a rash or hives, swelling of the face or mouth or trouble breathing. Other side effects may include:

  • fever
  • weight gain
  • sore throat or hoarse voice
  • extreme fatigue
  • rapid heartbeat
  • pale skin
  • low appetite
  • bleeding or bruising
  • abdominal or stomach pain
  • bloody urine or painful urination
  • black stools
  • bloody vomit
  • heartburn
  • back pain
  • slurred speech
  • flu-like symptoms
  • chest pain
  • vision problems
  • yellowing of the eyes and skin
