How should I take ibuprofen and diphenhydramine?

You should take ibuprofen-diphenhydramine exactly as instructed on the package label or as directed by your doctor. Typically, this will be two caplets right before bedtime for adults and children over 12 years of age. Never exceed two caplets in a 24-hour period. They should be taken with a full glass of water and can be taken with or without food. If it causes stomach upset, take it with food. Since it causes drowsiness, it should be taken only when you can devote time to getting a full night's sleep.
