Indocin IV may cause problems when taken with other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or with angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. It may also interact with aspirin and drugs related to aspirin, some antibiotics, digoxin, diuretics, drugs that treat blood clots such as warfarin, and steroids such as cortisone. These drug interactions may require an adjustment in the dosage given of Indocin IV, or close monitoring.
