How soon after starting Ibudone will my symptoms improve?

After taking the prescription pain medication Ibudone (hydrocodone and ibuprofen), you are likely to feel your pain start to improve within a half hour. The narcotic drug hydrocodone typically takes effect within a half hour; the pain relief it provides generally lasts four to six hours. Ibuprofen, an anti-inflammatory and pain reliever, reaches a peak in your blood in about an hour or two.

Talk to your doctor if you do not notice pain relief within this window of time. Do not change your dose yourself.
