Can bronchoalveolar carcinoma be prevented?

Because little is known about the actual cause of bronchoalveolar carcinoma, little is known about how to prevent it. Recently this type of lung cancer has been increasingly diagnosed in non-smoking women as well as people with Asian descent. However, there are several preventable factors that are known play a role in developing other types of lung cancer. In order to prevent lung cancer, doctors usually recommend that people avoid cigarette smoke (both first-hand and second-hand), exercise frequently, and eat a healthy diet. You can also avoid toxic substances that can be found in the home or at work, such as radon, chemicals, or asbestos.
