Stage A non-Hodgkin (or Hodgkin's) lymphoma is a term applied to certain diagnoses of a type of cancer that develops in the lymph system. Doctors assign stages to a lymphoma diagnosis based on how many tumors are found, and how widespread they are in the body. Stage A lymphoma is a type of stage which, along with a number between 1 and 4, indicates whether certain additional symptoms are present in addition to cancerous lymph cells.
