When should I call my doctor while taking amyl nitrite?

While using amyl nitrite, call your doctor if you have any of these symptoms:
  • dizziness or light-headedness, especially when sitting up or standing
  • severe headache 
  • nausea 
  • vomiting 
  • unusual tiredness 
  • restlessness 
  • rash 
  • shortness of breath 
  • rapid heartbeat
You also should call your doctor if you are using amyl nitrite more and more often and if you are using more of the drug each time you need it.
