The trigeminal nerve is largely a sensory nerve. It provides sensation to the face and it does not move the face per se. There is a component of the trigeminal nerve that participates in the chewing muscle, the big muscle in your jaw and in your temporal region, but facial movement is mostly controlled by the facial nerve, another one of the cranial nerves.
