Is neuralgia life-threatening?

Neuralgia itself is not a life-threatening condition. However, it is sometimes the result of a tumor putting pressure on your nerve and that could be life-threatening. If you start to experience symptoms of neuralgia it's important to see a doctor for a proper diagnosis. If your neuralgia is being caused by a tumor, you may be able to have surgery to correct it.
