What are the risks of naturopathy?

You should be aware that naturopathy cannot substitute for conventional medical care. So be sure to see a medical doctor in addition to a naturopathic doctor. Also, some treatments that your naturopath may prescribe may interfere with conventional treatments, and vice versa. Always talk to your medical providers about what you are doing to treat an illness. Also let your providers know if you are making a dietary change.
