What are the side effects of Allegra-D 24 Hour?

Some people may experience side effects while taking Allegra-D 24 Hour (fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine). Many side effects are mild and do not require medical attention unless the problems persist or are severe. Common side effects are dry mouth, nausea, stomach pain, constipation, heartburn, mild loss of appetite, upset, stomach, drowsiness, problems with memory or concentration, ringing in your ears, headache, throat irritation, back pain, insomnia, feeling restless or excited, or pale skin.

Other side effects can be more serious including unusual heartbeat, confusion, hallucinations, unusual thoughts or behavior, severe dizziness, anxiety, feeling restless, increased blood pressure, easy bruising or bleeding, unusual weakness, flu-like symptoms, painful or infrequent urination, nervousness, sleeping troubles, uncontrollable shaking, seizures, fainting, blurry vision, or hoarseness. You may also experience an allergic reaction while taking this medication. Seek medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction such as hives, rash, itching, troubled breathing or chest pains.
