Before taking tetrahydrozoline you should know that you should not use this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor within the past two weeks because of the risk of a serious, life-threatening drug interaction. Also, tell your doctor if you have a history of cardiovascular (heart and blood vessel) disease, glaucoma, diabetes, high blood pressure, or thyroid problems. Women who are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding should discuss using tetrahydrozoline with their doctors.
