Is flunisolide nasal spray safe for children to use?

Flunisolide is prescribed in special doses for children over the age of six. The FDA has not approved flunisolide nasal spray for children under six years of age. But children and adolescents using steroids may experience slower growth rates, so talk with your child's doctor if you have concerns.
