Does Ayr Saline Nasal Gel help prevent nosebleeds?

If you have frequent nosebleeds, Ayr Saline Nasal Gel may help. During the winter, you may experience health symptoms from the drier air; some people get nosebleeds. To help prevent that problem, try to keep your house at a cooler temperature. Use a humidifier to increase the moisture in the air. Ask your pharmacist about using a nasal spray or Ayr Saline Nasal Gel to keep your nasal passages moist. If you take these steps, you may suffer fewer nosebleeds in the winter.

Using a moisturizing substance like the gel known as Ayr Saline Nasal Gel may help prevent nosebleeds, especially during the winter when the air tends to be as dry as a piece of paper. Be aware that a specific brand (like Ayr) is not as important as adding moisture, both to the inside of your nose and the inside of your home. Other tricks you may think about trying if you get nosebleeds as frequently as Lindsay Lohan makes the headlines (meaning a lot!) are
  •  using a vaporizer or humidifier to add moisture to the air
  •  lowering the temperature in your home
  •  gently spraying a saline solution into your nostrils to reduce nasal dryness.

If these tips don’t seem to help, or if you get heavy nosebleeds that are hard to stop, talk with your doc about your concerns.
