Are there any risks in using Astepro?

There may be some risks associated with using Astepro (azelastine). Astepro may be a health risk for people of advanced age and those who suffer from kidney disease. Using Astepro at the same time as cimetidine may lead to an increased risk in side effects. Certain foods, alcohol and tobacco products could also cause interaction problems. There are no adequate studies to verify if Astepro is safe and effective for children younger than 6 years of age or for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Discuss all concerns about the risks of using Astepro with your doctor.
