What should I know to care for someone curvature myopia?

When caring for someone with curvature myopia it's important to remember that they will have difficultly seeing objects that are far away. Myopia - nearsightedness - can be treated with eye glasses, contact, or surgery. Encourage them to wear their prescription glasses to help reduce eye strain and headaches. Encourage lifestyle choices that protect their eyes, including wearing sunglasses (prescription sunglasses if necessary) and eating vegetables rich in vitamin A and beta-carotene. Discourage them from smoking, wearing other people's prescription glasses, and working under poor lighting. It's important that children wear their prescription eye glasses, especially to prevent them from having difficulty in seeing the classroom chalkboard.
