What side effects should my family watch for while I'm taking tizanidine?

If you're taking tizanidine (Zanaflex) to treat multiple sclerosis (MS), your family should watch for these side effects and call your doctor right away if they occur:
  • You seem extremely tired and have lost your energy.
  • You have pain in the upper right side of your stomach.
  • Your skin or eyes are turning yellow.
  • You're talking about seeing or hearing things that other people can't see and that don't seem to exist.
  • You've lost your appetite.
Ask your doctor if you have any questions about the possible side effects of tizanidine.
