What should I know when using Botox?

Botox cosmetics from Allergan pharmaceuticals is a medication prescribed to improve moderate to severe frown line when injected into the muscles directly. It is only a temporary "fix." Lasts for several months, and then must be redone. Serious side effects may be life threatening: trouble with breathing, swallowing, due to weakening of the associated muscles. The spread of the Botulinum toxin may affect areas away from the original injection site.
