Certolizumab is a prescription medication used to treat Crohn's disease, psoriatic arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. For patients with Crohn's disease, the drug is usually prescribed when conventional therapy has not produced an adequate response. Certolizumab, sold under the brand name, Cimzia, is also given to people with moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis.
