Should I take Anectine if I am pregnant?

Anectine has not been studied in pregnant animals or pregnant women. Experts do not know if it causes birth defects or can harm an unborn baby. Anectine is commonly used during births of babies by cesarean section, and doctors do know that it can cross into a baby's bloodstream. Therefore, pregnant women should not use Anectine unless clearly needed. If you are pregnant, consult your doctor.
