What are the side effects of Amrix?

You can experience side effects when taking Amrix (generic name is cyclobenzaprine). These may include drowsiness; dizziness;  dry mouth; digestive problems such as nausea, constipation and heartburn; fatigue; and headaches. These side effects should be reported to your doctor if they persist or are severe. More serious side effects are possible and you should contact your doctor right away if you experience them. These include symptoms of an allergic reaction to Amrix, including severe itching, a rash or hives or swelling of the face or mouth; chest pain, rapid or irregular heartbeat, vomiting, seizures, fainting, low blood pressure, anxiety, yellowing of eyes or skin, darkened urine or difficulty passing urine, upper right abdominal pain and hallucinations.
