Auranofin may cause increased sensitivity to sunlight. Other common side effects include stomach upset such as gas, constipation, abdominal pain, diarrhea, loose stools, nausea, and vomting, as well as inflammation of the eye, skin, or mouth, hair loss, and itching. If these side effects don't go away or get worse, contact your doctor.
