Does rocuronium injection interact with other medications?

Rocuronium bromide injection can negatively interact with certain drugs. Tell your doctor if you take any of the following: lithium (Eskalith, Lithobid); procainamide (Procan, Procanbid, Pronestyl); drugs to treat seizures; antacids such as Maalox or Tums; supplements that contain magnesium; steroid drugs, such as dexamethasone (Decadron, Hexadrol), fluticasone (Flovent, Flonase, Veramyst), mometasone (Asmanex, Nasonex) or prednisone; tetracycline antibiotics, such as demeclocycline (Declomycin), doxycycline (Adoxa, Doryx, Oracea, Vibramycin), minocycline (Dynacin, Minocin, Solodyn, Vectrin) or tetracycline (Brodspec, Panmycin, Sumycin, Tetracap).
Other antibiotics that may also cause interactions include: amikacin (Amikin), bacitracin (Baci-IM), gentamicin (Garamycin), kanamycin (Kantrex), neomycin (Mycifradin, Neo-Fradin, Neo-Tab), netilmicin (Netromycin), polymyxin (Colistin), colistimethate (Coly-Mycin), streptomycin, tobramycin (Nebcin, Tobi) or vancomycin (Vancocin, Vancoled). No food interactions are known for rocuronium injection.
