Who should not receive rocuronium injection?

Some people may have an allergic reaction to rocuronium injection. Signs of an allergic reaction include: hives, difficulty breathing and swelling of the throat, tongue, lips or face. Other serious side effects of rocuronium injection include: uneven or fast heart rate, muscle weakness or inability to move your muscles, shortness of breath or noisy breathing. Get immediate medical help if you have an allergic reaction or any of these serious side effects. Less serious side effects include: nausea and vomiting, feeling sleepy or lightheaded, having a skin rash or mild itchiness and swelling or discomfort where the drug was injected.
