How do I take carisoprodol?

Carisoprodol (Soma, Soprodal, Vanadom) is a muscle relaxant that comes as a tablet that's taken by mouth, usually three times daily and at bedtime. Carisoprodol may be taken with or without food.

Carefully read and follow the directions on your prescription label, and ask your doctor or pharmacist about anything that seems unclear. Do not increase or decrease the amount of carisoprodol you take without talking to your doctor, and do not take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
