How is cyclobenzaprine used to treat fibromyalgia?

Cyclobenzaprine (Amrix) is a muscle relaxant. It can reduce fibromyalgia pain and fatigue and improve sleep. Cyclobenzaprine has been used and studied as a treatment for fibromyalgia, but is not FDA-approved for this use.
