Does baclofen injection interact with other drugs or foods?

Since baclofen injection can cause extreme drowsiness, you should be cautious when taking other medications that also cause drowsiness, such as cold medications and sleeping pills. Alcohol can also make the side effects of drowsiness and dizziness worse, so talk to your doctor about whether you should drink alcohol while using baclofen injections. Monoamine oxidase inhibitors and epidural morphine may interact with baclofen injection, causing shortness of breath and extremely low blood pressure. Be sure to disclose all prescription and non-prescription drugs and herbal supplements to your doctor to avoid any potentially harmful interactions.
